When it comes to the acquisition of static and quasi-static data of up to 10 Hz, ESAM Traveller Static is the right choice for an instruments system. In steps of 8 channels the system can be modularly extended up to a capacity of 256 channels. Adjustable sampling rates between 0.007 to 100 Samples/s are tailored for static or low-frequency signals, and in long-term measurement applications, the lowest rate of 0.007 Samples/s render the system an ideal data collector. In offline operation, the data are stored in a system inherent 1 GB Flash memory. Even with a full 256 channels capacity, the system is housed in only two small cabinets which greatly contributes to often desired system mobility. A USB-interface is provided for online operation securing an easy data transfer from the system’s hardware to the computer for data storage and/or data processing.
ESAM Traveller Static features signal conditioner amplifier plug-in cards for all kind of strain gauge bridge circuits with resistances of 120 ?, 350 ? and 1000 ?, and for any sort of strain gauge based transducers. In addition, plug-in cards for Pt-100 temperature sensors are available. Bridge excitation voltages of 1.25 VDC, 2.5 VDC and 5 VDC meet the sensors’ energizing demands.

For comfortable and safe operation and data reading the system features on the front plate a well-readable LCD-display with background lighting as well as easy to operate function softkeys.
The entire data acquisition as well as the data processing is managed by the well-proven ESAM 1.X Static software which smoothly runs under all current WINDOWS® operational software versions.
